this could be the part that is about us and why we make what we make. it can have something about how we met perhaps, at a time when we had stumbled in our own ways. but it should mostly be about why we are even doing this at all, if it’s important, why and to what end — if any. it could be about how we know it is important, even though we know it’s not the most important thing. it could be about how we don’t have much time. it could be about small stories worth telling and ways of being that are little acts of civil disobedience. maybe it’s about the choice to approach making as equally important to those other things that make up a life, or day. maybe it’s about the idea of being all together, now. maybe it’s just about giving ourselves permission to spend time differently, with one another and those with whom we choose to work closely.
